They build beautiful outstanding engines! This is my second one. Brad built them both. The first one was in ’09. Their experience and quality is what keeps bringing me back. Matt made sure everything was exactly what I wanted…right down to my silly bolt requests. Everyone over there is great to work with as well.
Thanks again guys…Matt, Brad, and Bruce!

Bruce / Robert,
I just want to say thanks to all of you, especially Robert for the beautiful engine. Robert, I don’t know how to thank you for the awesome work and attention to detail you applied to this engine, you truly are a talented man, this thing looks amazing. We’ll be dropping it in this weekend, and I’ll send pics when it’s ready to be fired up. Watched the video, and I’m impressed with the tone of this monster. I wish I would have come to you guys 3 years ago, I would be driving this Cobra by now… I will have no problem answering people when they ask, Who did your engine??
Thanks so much!!
My trike with your engine installed. Runs Great!
Thought you might want to see this.
Bruce I would like to add with your email here that I did check out other engine builders and you are right many of them use used or overseas parts from Japan. or China not good. Your engine not only looks good but also runs better than it looks. I am very pleased with the performance of my engine. Also pleased with the service that I got when I purchased the engine. and questions after the purchase. This is where all others fail. You were polite courteous and gave me the answers that I need it. Which incidentally was very nice of you. You made me a lifetime customer. Thanks again Les Wentz 3/30/19

Bruce and Tim
My son Brian and I would like to thank you and Tim for the Engine Factory shop tour on October 12th. We had a very positive experience earlier this year when we placed the engine order with Matt and you and after the shop tour we became even more convinced we found the right place to build our Ford 331 Stroker Engine!
During our visit, we were amazed at Tim’s knowledge regarding these engine builds. We came prepared with a long checklist of questions for our build and before we had a chance to ask even one question, Tim had confidently addressed each and every one.
Our 1966 Mustang Fastback is nearing completion and has been a father/son project for the past twelve years. We’ve done the majority of work ourselves, so this has become a very special car to us and it was important to us to have just the right engine. We wanted a company that knows engine building, that uses quality American parts, and that stands behind their product. Both my son and I feel we found all that in the Engine Factory. We look forward to receiving the finished product and getting the ’66 Mustang on the road by spring 2016!

Back in 2002, I received my 302 in California – Packaging was first rate… now in Hawaii and after close to 165K miles the engine is rock solid – smooth as a baby’s bottom – I have to replace the rocker gaskets and – while at it- the intake gaskets…I was unsure of the port size for gasket selection so sent a note to the Engine Factory…. got a rapid response with part #’s and install tips/cautions.
Now that is customer-centric service – and after 14 years!
Thank you Sirs!…

Excellent Company! They take the time to talk to someone about their thoughts and their needs for an engine. In return I was asked what kind of vehicle, rear gear size and if manual transmission and how it would be used. Bruce then recommended the engine he thought would give what I was looking for. Answered all my questions and I Never sensed that there was a rush to get off the phone. In the end I got a beautiful engine that looks and sounds awesome! Thanks to everyone at the engine factory for a job well done!!! Dale Finney
I wanted to thank you and your team for doing such a great job building the engine for my Cobra. It was great to find such a great company so close to home when I was looking for an engine builder for my Cobra. The engine looks great, sounds great and runs great. I really enjoyed working with you and your team. I highly recommend your company for anyone considering a performance engine.

Here’s a pic of the engine installation in my T bucket.
At this time I would like to thank The Engine Factory, especially Matt & Brad for the outstanding customer service I received with the carburetor issue I had the other day. Customer service like this is hard to find anywhere.
Hi Matt & Bruce,
Well it is finally completed. If anyone out there is thinking of purchasing a engine look no further then the Engine Factory!! The engine was flawless as well as a heck of a looker. Working with Matt and Bruce was a pleasure, Matt walked me through the selection along with the process of putting the engine together. Bruce kept me up to date with photo’s of the engine from start to finish. This 383 Stroker with the 450 HP definitely puts the stock 190 HP to shame. Although this 1973 Corvette Stingray has a 3.08 rear-end (helps with gas mileage on weekend cruises) it will still lay down the rubber. The first time the wife drove it she took off from a stop and looked down at the speedometer and was doing 70 in nothing flat. Awesome!! Again it was a total pleasure working with both of you and yes I would do it again in a heartbeat, and will when we move on to another rod! Attached are some photos of the car.
Thanks again Matt & Bruce
When my original engine started giving me problems and because I have limited mechanical abilities I
found that the crate motor approach suited my needs. I researched many other companies and no one was able to compare to yours.
I finally decided to give Matt a call and he patiently and professionally assisted me with the order. I found all the information that I needed posted on your web site .
The motor arrived at the shop on time as promised and was a sight to see. The 350/400 was mated to a 5sp Tremic and the installation was completed without any major problems.
The motor runs fantastic and has plenty of torque to move the 1980 GMC Truck
Bruce thank you so much For Building an Awesome Chevy 383 Dual Quad stroker for my 82 El Camino. You do so good at documentation and also keeping your customer so well-informed. I’m glad we shopped at Engine Factory. Number one I always like following a leader and you definitely rank to be one of the leading Industries engine maker.
Thanks again Lester Wentz

Dear Bruce, Matt and Brad,
Thank you very much for building my super 434ci stroker 550 HP engine for my 1980 camaro z28, in a way that was right on schedule, beautifully done, with such professionalism the way it was accomplished, with pictures of the step by step built up and finalizing, with a video turning the engine on and listening to the sound it makes.
I still have to put the engine on the chassis, and I will keep you posted on the progress.
I will certainly look you guys up, for my next rebuilt project.
Thank you Matt for your patience with me, and the conference calls with Bruce and Brad, to finish such a fantastic looking piece of mechanical art.
All the best,
Vicente Emilio Velutini

I just wanted to write and say that even though I took delivery of my 347 stroker engine almost 6 months ago, I finally got my Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod assembled to the point that I got to start the engine for the first time
yesterday! It started right up and runs great!! We took the car on a little “go kart” ride also and the engine just purred.
Thank you so much for your help with my car. I called a couple of times to get some advice and your staff always was able to answer my questions and get me the information I needed to continue with the car build. Your
customer service is excellent.
Thank You So Much! I am so impressed by your customer service and helpful attitudes! It has meant so much to me!
I will recommend your company to everyone that is interested in quality, craftsmanship and service on a silver platter,! It is so nice to deal with people that cherish good old American values…that’s why you’ve been in business since 1969!

I haven’t installed it yet but the motor looks fantastic, sounds great and with the serpentine system will show very nice. My shipper ran a fork through the bottom of the box so I refused shipment per Brice’s instructions and sent it back. The Engine Factory team went through it and replaced the pan and starter. Return shipment was perfect. I’ll update once I install it.
Thanks guys for Great service and an Awesome engine for my Camaro.
I have received many compliments about the Engine it runs and sounds awesome.
It is everything you said it would be.

I finally got my engine installed. It runs great, looks great, and the power increase over my old engine is fantastic! I have attached a photo of my 72 Chevy C10 with the new engine installed.
Thank you for a quality product.
I hope you and everyone there at FFR & the Engine Factory are keeping well.
Just a brief note to say a big thanks to you (and the teams behind the scenes) for your help over the past 14 months… following our visit (my son & I) back in September 2015, today I received notification that my Type 65 Coupe (#F5R1000708CPB) is fully road legal here in the UK.
We first started the build on 16th March 2016 – Right Hand Drive / Complete kit / Independent rear suspension / 6.7ltr Ford 418w from The Engine Factory.
Drives & sounds amazing!!! First show booked for July ;0)
Thanks again everyone!

Bruce thanks for the 408 Stroker you made for me. Your team exceeded my expectations. The engine arrived on time, was easy to install, and started right up. It ran and sounded great! I can’t wait to drive my Cobra in a few weeks. It is a great choice for Lone Star’s 7 day build!

Bruce / Christian / Robert:
It has been awhile since we last communicated.
My kit delivered 1/31/2010. I drove it for the first time 7/4/2010.
My car went to paint and interior over the winter and was completed 2/17/2011. Just in time for the 2011 Dallas Autorama where it made its debut.
I have entered 9 shows and taken 9 1st place plaques or trophies.
I wanted to send a note to say “Thank you” for building me an amazing engine. The 418W Stroker gets tons of comments and has provided me 7500+ miles of trouble free joy. A few adjustments and a couple oil changes is all I have had to do.
As you can tell, I drive it as often as possible.
Remember the black pulleys, valve covers, and air cleaner?
The car was photographed back in March 2011 and will be making an appearance in Kit Car Builder magazine at some point.
Here are some pics of the final product.
Thank you again for a great product.
